Travel
The ways of travelling to the Stadium have been listed with the most
sustainable first. So when you find a way that is suitable to you, please don't read on! Brighton & Hove City Council monitors the ways in which fans travel to matches at Withdean, and if the club does not meet certain targets, it will incur financial penalties.

Walking
If you live within a reasonable distance of the Stadium please walk.

Cycling
If you feel you live just a little too far from Withdean to walk, then how about cycling? The ground is equipped with a secure cycle park - head for the top car park and just ask any steward for directions on arrival.

Bus
You can use free/subsidised bus travel to Withdean courtesy of Brighton & Hove or Stagecoach Buses. Travel on any Brighton & Hove Bus is free. Simply use the travel vouchers issued with your match/season ticket when boarding the bus. For your trip to Withdean, hand in the travel voucher on the right-hand side of your ticket to the driver when boarding the bus. On your return journey, simply hand over your second travel voucher.

If you plan to travel by bus using Stagecoach buses your fare will be free within the free bus travel zone (see map). If you are travelling from outside the zone, please purchase your ticket to the edge of the free travel zone.

Private Coach or Minibus
You may wish to travel in large groups either by hiring a private coach or minibus. If so, please contact the club in the week before the game for more information.

Train
If travelling by train you may use the travel voucher for one return journey from stations in the area shown on the map to Preston Park. The voucher must be used with your match ticket on the date shown. If travelling from a station outside the area shown, a return ticket must be purchased to one of the stations shown on the map, and then use the voucher for the remainder of the journey.

Car
If you must travel by car then please:

- Share your car with other fans.
- Use the Football Park & Rides.

Football Park & Rides
The Park & Ride sites are situated in two locations:

- Mill Road, off A23/A27
- Mithras House, Lewes Road

Both are shown on the map opposite. Please note the Mill Road site can only be accessed from the A23/A27 turn-off at Patcham and by driving west up Mill Road. You will not be allowed to enter Mill Road from the Hove turn-off from the A27.

On arrival at the car parks all occupants of the car must hand in their outward travel vouchers to the steward, to ensure the council's audit figures take into account all car passengers and not just the driver. The Football Park & Ride buses are exclusively for the use of those attending the match. You will need to show your match ticket on boarding. The bus will then take you to the drop-off point.

After the match you should go to the pick-up points on the London Road, and the buses will then take you back to your Park & Ride.

The free Park & Ride buses run from 12.30pm on a Saturday and 6.00pm for evening matches, and for 30 minutes after each match. However you may not wish to return to your car immediately, but please note all cars must be removed from the Mill Road car park no later than two hours after the match.
