Delegates attending Sunday evening's LibDem Conference Annual Gala Dinner at Brighton's Royal Pavilion will be offered a surprise alternative menu by the Falmer For All Campaign.
Designed to look like the real thing, spoof menu cards will carry the campaign's message in support of the Community Stadium at Falmer.
The inclusion of specialities like 'Lewes Hand-Raised Porkies', 'Aunty Ann's Fantastically Fishy Snaps' and 'Canard de Lewes avec Nimby Sauce' will remind delegates of the dishonest tactics used by both Lewes's Liberal Democrat MP Norman Baker and the LibDem controlled District Council in opposing and delaying the stadium.

Chair of the Falmer For All Campaign, Paul Samrah said, "We have always been respected for our pointedly good-humoured campaigning. That continues with our Gala Dinner menu poking fun at Norman Baker and Lewes Council leader Ann De Vecchi. On the reverse, we detail the lies and distortions which have characterised their approach.
"For example, Baker has been quoted as saying that the proposed stadium is in 'open country'* - that is simply a complete lie.
"I urge everyone to make the effort and come along to our rally earlier on Sunday afternoon. It will be the biggest demonstration ever seen at a LibDem Party Conference - and will make delegates well aware of the illiberal and undemocratic stance taken by both the Lewes LibDems and their MP. Such actions are losing the party votes right across Sussex.
"Delegates will be left in absolutely no doubt as to who is spoiling their party - Norman Baker, Ann de Vecchi and their Lewes LibDem colleagues. Food for thought indeed."
Join the rally this Sunday and show the LibDems how you feel! 4pm outside the Brighton Centre. Click here for full details.
