Falmer Rally Albion fans are set to rally for Falmer, to demonstrate at the Liberal Democrats party conference.

A new flier has been produced by the Falmer For All campaign to advertise the event - click the image to download a pdf version.

The copy on the back reads:

'Show the Liberal Democrats' party conference how unpopular their colleagues in Lewes are.

'Highlight the hypocrisy and the lack of democracy involved in the district council's decisions. Let the party know just how out-of-touch Lewes MP Norman Baker, who thinks the stadium site is "open country", really is. If you deplore Lewes Lib-Dems' attempts to kill off the community stadium at Falmer then be there. You don't even have to be an Albion fan - all are welcome to join the rally, especially those shocked by the potential loss of taxpayers' money on this issue.

'Wear your colours and bring your voices! Placards and banners are encouraged, but remember we are rallying against the Lewes
Lib-Dems, not the party nationally. We need to show their leaders who is spoiling their party locally. After all, If one Lib-Dem council can try to destroy a football club, what might a Lib-Dem government do to the country?

'The rally will assemble on the promenade opposite the Brighton Centre from 3.30 pm onwards. The demonstration against Lewes Lib-Dems will begin at 4.00 pm. There will be speeches before the rally disperses at around 4.40 pm.

'Please note that the city centre will be very busy, so allow plenty of time to make the start. Car parking will be very difficult. You are advised to use public transport and walk to the rally. Most bus services pass through Churchill Square from where it is a short walk via the Clock Tower and West Street to the Brighton Centre. Brighton Station is about a 15-minute walk away for those arriving by train.'
