Cristian signed in the summer of 2010 on a Bosman free transfer from Comunicaciones. Gus Poyet discovered the Argentinean while scouting South America. He is a left-sided midfielder who can also play in attack. As a youngster he was on the books of San Lorenzo and Boca Juniors and should be a promising young player.
