David joined Albion on loan from Le Havre just before the August 2007 transfer deadline. An energetic attacking midfielder, he graduated through the French club's distinguished youth system, initially as a striker, but has played the majority of his football in the centre of midfield or wide on the right. He has played in both the French Premier League and First Division, and made his Albion debut in the 3-2 win over Southend.
