Team News: Albion v Leicester City

Gus Poyet has declared Kazenga LuaLua and assistant manager Mauricio Taricco fit for Saturday's league clash against Leicester City, while Craig Noone (hamstring) will need to prove his fitness.

Gary Dicker (broken leg), Tommy Elphick (Achilles) and Marcos Painter (hamstring) remain sidelined but LuaLua and Taricco - who have both been absent since the first week of January - could make a timely return against the Foxes.

Poyet told seagulls.co.uk, "Gary Dicker, Tommy Elphick and Marcos Painter are ruled out but the rest have a chance, although Nooney's is a small chance. All of the new loan signings are available too."

Joe Mattock, who signed for the Seagulls until the end of the season on Tuesday, will join up with the squad for the first time today, and Poyet admitted that the 21-year-old has a busy two days ahead of him to learn the Albion way of playing.

"It's a difficult week for Joe because it's a week where we will give him a lot of information and he needs to absorb that.

"He needs to be relaxed but open minded so that he can learn as much as possible, because he's certainly got the ability and the experience for this division. He has also got the natural confidence to play football but he needs to learn to be a part of this team."

Foxes boss Nigel Pearson has the luxury of no injury or suspension worries ahead of Saturday's clash at the Amex, while Ben Marshall could be in line for his Leicester City debut after signing from Stoke City on deadline-day.
