Ticket Loyalty Scheme

Posted on: Wed 16 May 2012

The club's ticket priority system, which is used to allocate tickets for high-demand matches throughout the season, replaces the old Gold, Blue and White membership which are now defunct.

The Seagulls Loyalty Scheme uses a loyalty points system to give the club's most loyal fans, those with the highest number of points, the first option to apply for tickets to high profile matches.

Provided supporters quote their own unique Albion Fan Number whenever they buy tickets, they will be awarded Loyalty Points against those tickets, including season tickets and individual home and away matches.

The scheme has been in use since the move to the American Express Community Stadium in 2011.

It also provides fans who regularly follow Albion home and away the opportunity to ensure they maintain a sufficient number of Loyalty Points to give them a greater chance of tickets for high-profile away matches.

The Albion ticket office uploaded points for those who were season ticket holders during the club's last season at Withdean.

Going from 5,000 season ticket holders at Withdean to over 18,000 at the Amex meant the club needed a new policy for distributing tickets for those popular away fixtures.

Under this priority scheme the ticket office are able to ascertain a point threshold based on the allocation, and those fans with the correct number of loyalty points are invited to apply for tickets for matches.

It also gives the club the opportunity to reward those fans who were ticket holders at Withdean, particularly those who regularly travel away from home, and as a result they have the opportunity to maintain their place at the front of the queue when it comes to priority.

Season ticket holders and 1901 Club members are awarded their points at the start of each season, with additional points available for home cup and away league and cup matches, while non-season-ticket holders are awarded Loyalty Points as and when they purchase individual match tickets.

The Loyalty Points threshold for the two pre-season fixtures at the Amex will be announced in due course, along with sale dates, prices and other match information.
