17:00: Albion have signed Norwegian under-19 international Torbjorn Agdestein from Stord FC for a nominal fee. The 18-year-old striker joins on a one-year deal, and boss Gus Poyet explained, "He is a young talent, and we were told he is very quick and direct; we looked at him and that information was right. He will initiailly be part of the development squad, but I want him to be pushing for a place in the first-team squad." Click here for more details.
16:00: Kazenga LuaLua completes his loan switch to Albion, as announced on seagulls.co.uk yesterday morning. However, he won't be available for tomorrow night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy match with Leyton Orient, as the midday deadline had passed prior to the paperwork being completed. His deal is until 3rd January 2011.

boss Gus Poyet admits he is trying to bring in three new players ahead of the transfer window shutting at 6pm this evening. He told seagulls.co.uk, "I would like to finish today with three new signings, and yes at least one of those I hope to be a striker. It has to be the right players, and I am confident those who come will make us a better team."
