Another Arch is Going Up!

Posted on: Thu 03 Jun 2010

By Paul Camillin

The massive West Stand arch at the club's new stadium is being raised over the next few days, after work began on lifting the first part of the huge structure into place early this morning.

The plan is for Buckingham Group to lift the second section into place at some point tomorrow, with the third section to be raised on Saturday or Sunday.

Albion chief executive Martin Perry commented, "This is another fantastic milestone during the construction process. The stadium is really taking shape now, and I am sure our fans are watching with a great deal of anticipation ahead of the stadium opening in August next year."

Fans can watch the action unfold live on the club's stadium webcam, and a full gallery will appear in the next few days, once work is completed!
