The Albion Women's Football Club is looking to enhance its squad ahead of new season, and would like to invite players to attend four open training sessions in June.
While the club are particularly keen to hear from players with the ability and aspiration to play in the FA Women's Premier League, there is also a Community Women's side for those with less experience.
Sessions will be held at the club's training ground at the University of Sussex between 7pm and 9pm on the 8th, 10th, 15th and 17th June. In addition, a training match will be held against a select BHAWFC XI on Tuesday 22 June.
The Women's first team competes in the FA Women's Premier League and last season regained the Sussex County FA Women's Challenge Cup.
The club also runs a reserve team which competes in the FA Women's Premier Reserve League. The reserves have proved a useful development tool for younger players and several of those who have played reserve team football have gone on to represent the first team last season.
The elite strand of the Women's club is underpinned by the Girls' Centre of Excellence, which is one of only fifty-two FA Licensed programmes in the country and is the only accredited programme in Sussex. Teams are run for girls aged 8-16 years. In the last three years, four Centre of Excellence players have attended National under-15 development camps.

In keeping with the club's community ethos, a third Women's team was established two years ago with the aim of providing a means for less-experienced players and those wanting to compete at a local level. This season Albion Community Women won the Sussex County FA Women's Challenge Trophy and have earned promotion to the South East Counties Women's League.
