Chris Holroyd says he would love to follow in the footsteps of Swindon Town striker Charlie Austin, who has made a sensational leap into League football this season.
Austin has bagged 13 goals in 21 league appearances since signing from Wessex Premier side Poole Town last summer, and has formed a formidable partnership with strike partner Billy Paynter to fire the Robins into the play-off places.
Holroyd told seagulls.co.uk, "Austin is really flying and every week he's knocking in goals, so he's doing really well.
"Swindon have a good strike force so that is something we have to be wary of as they've got bags of goals between them, but if we are on our game we can keep them out.
"It's going to be another tough game but we've coped well against the top teams recently and we seem to rise to the occasion. We won last time we played at home so we will be going out looking for another victory.
"Then we have another home game on Tuesday [against Brentford] so we will look to continue the form."
Holroyd is yet to open his goal account since signing from Cambridge United in January, but believes it is only a matter of time before he finds the net in an Albion shirt.
"The Gaffer has spoken to the midfielders, letting them know how I play, so they know I'm waiting on the shoulder and waiting to run in behind.
"I'm really enjoying it here and really enjoying the step up. It's a challenge to me and hopefully one I will do well at.
"When I came I didn't think I would be this involved so early, so I'm pleased."
