Poyet Wary of Robins Backlash

Albion boss Gus Poyet insists Swindon Town will be intent on playing their usual attacking game at Withdean on Saturday, despite losing two games on the bounce.

The Uruguayan watched the Wiltshire outfit's defeat at MK Dons on Tuesday night and told seagulls.co.uk, "They are very powerful. They always play their own game and it doesn't matter to them what the opposition do.

"They know their strengths and they will try to play that way every game. It doesn't matter whether they're winning or losing, you know how powerful they are up-front and if you relax or have a lapse of concentration for a second they will score a goal."

Poyet wants his side to adopt the Robins' fearless approach and says he saw positive signs during Albion's goalless draw at Colchester.

"We need to make sure we play every single game to our strengths regardless of the opposition, and we showed that on Monday.

"We are a lot better as a group, but there are individuals who are stepping up to another level which is important for the future.

"I always want my teams to be organised and to be in the game, then you have a chance to win it.

"I'm very pleased with the attitude and everyone will remember how we defended against Colchester, because they were very tough to handle. That should be the basis for us not only for the rest of the season, but for next year also.

"We showed everyone in England how we are going to play and what we want to achieve from now on."
