Albion's youngsters cruised into the second round of the FA Youth Cup tonight with a comfortable 4-0 win over Barnet at Underhill.
James Smith and Jake Caskey were on target in the first half, before Conor Hider and Jordan Woodley completed the rout late in the game.
Youth team coach Vic Bragg, "I was happy with the performance. We played some really good football in the first half, although at times we over elaborated.
"Barnet worked very hard to try and shut us down - that is something we have to learn from, we tried to do too much with the ball at times - but generally it was a good performance."
The Albion youth coach was delighted to see a defender and midfielder on the score sheet, in Smith and Caskey. "It's usually been Hider or Barker - so it's nice to have four different scorers."
Albion opened the scoring through Smith, who completed a fine move down the left, by converting Leon Redwood's pass to open the scoring after 20 minutes.
Midfielder Caskey doubled the advantage shortly afterwards, smashing home into the top corner from 25 yards.
Barnet rallied after the interval for a spell, but Albion killed off the game after 70 minutes. Sub Tom Vickers played a neat ball through to Hider, who slotted home.
Hider set up Albion's fourth in injury time, crossing for Woodley, who curled the ball into the top corner from just inside the area.
Albion were watched by caretaker boss and director of football Martin Hinshelwood, while Steve Brown was alongside Bragg in the dugout.
