Albion's reserves maintained their unbeaten record for the season with a comfortable 3-1 victory against Brentford at Griffin Park.
The Seagulls took the lead through an acrobatic scissor kick by trialist Amodou Abdullei, before doubling their lead through fellow trialist Gary Roberts, with his second goal in as many games.
The midfield playmaker cut in on his left foot on the edge of the area before unleashing a wicked strike across the goal and into the net.
George Barker completed the scoring for the visitors, putting his side 3-0 up after reacting sharply to a goal mouth scramble and slotting the ball home from 12 yards.
With the game out of reach, the home side did manage a late consolation through Lewis Ferrell, but all three points belonged to the Albion.
Reserve team boss Bob Booker was happy with the day's work. "We didn't create as many chances as previous weeks, but we took our goals well," he told seagulls.co.uk.
"It was a solid team performance, and we're happy to score three goals, remain unbeaten and we're still top of the league."
