Albion's reserves maintained their 100 per cent start to the season with a 2-1 victory at Aldershot Town this afternoon.
Craig Davies bagged a first-half brace to take his tally to four goals in three games for the reserves.
The 23-year-old striker opened the scoring with a crisp finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the area, and doubled Albion's lead later in the half when he slotted home from a tight angle.
Reserve team boss Bob Booker was pleased with his side's application, albeit slightly disappointed to concede after the break.
"It was a shame they pulled one back after half-time, but I can't fault the players' effort and commitment," Booker told seagulls.co.uk.
"We carried on from where we left off last week, which was very pleasing.
"The squad is full of confidence and the lads are firing on all cylinders at the moment, which is good to see."
Albion also had a massive boost at the back, as Jake Wright completed a full 90 minutes on his return from a hamstring injury.
He will see physio Jim Joyce tomorrow morning as a precaution, but should provide manager Russell Slade with further options ahead of Saturday's first team game with Southend United.
Dean Cox also returned after illness, playing an hour before being replaced by Lee Cooper.
Albion: (4-4-2) G Smith (GK); Ide, Cook, Wright, Livermore; James Smith, Navarro (Wilkins), Jamie Smith, Cox (Cooper); Hart (Barker), Davies. Sub not used: Pelling (GK).
