It's one in and one out on deadline day, as Russell Slade completed the signing of Arron Davies from Nottingham Forest, on a long-term loan deal until 31st December.
Meanwhile, Mark Wright, who joined Albion on a free transfer in the summer, has moved to Bristol Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
Albion boss Slade commented, "It's very good business for us. Mark Wright has come and given his best for the club, and has struggled to settle in off the field and it makes sense for both parties for us to allow him move on with our best wishes.
"Arron is a more-than-adequate replacement for Wrighty. He can play on either wing, as an attacking midfielder, and he is a player I know very well from my time at Yeovil. I expect him to be a very good acquisition for the club."
Davies, a 25-year-old midfielder, was born in Cardiff but began his career on the south coast with Southampton, but never made the first team at St Mary's and was released by Harry Redknapp in 2004.
After a loan spell with Barnsley, he joined Yeovil Town in December 2004, and it was while at Huish Park won a call up to the full Wales squad, in 2006, having represented his country at under-19 and under-21 level.
He flourished under Slade at Yeovil, helping the Glovers to the 2006 playoffs, scoring twice against Nottingham Forest in the 2006 playoff semi-final.
After missing out on promotion, after a Wembley defeat to Blackpool, Davies joined Forest in a £1.2m deal, which also included Yeovil teammate Chris Cohen.
He has played 40 times for Forest, and has featured twice this season, in the Carling Cup victory over Bradford City and Saturday's 2-1 win over Middlesbrough.
