19:45: Albion's first pre-season friendly has kicked off at Athlone Town and Albion are expected to field two different line-ups, although trialist Michael Haswell is likely to play the full 90 minutes.

19:58: Jake Robinson has Albion's first real chance, he's on his weaker left foot, but still gets a good shot away, which is parried by Athlone keeper Ciaran Kelly.

20:04: The rain has cleared up, and Jake gets Albion's second chance of the evening, but is denied by the crossbar. Nicky Forster gets his head onto a decent Steve Thomson crosses from the right. Robinson is at close range, but sees his flick header hit the bar.

20:05: The ball's in the net - but the no goal is given. Forster is deemed to have pushed in his attempt to force the ball home following more good work from Robinson on the left wing. The rain has started again!

20:14: Forster fails to get a connection on a right-wing Robinson cross. Then, after Cox picks up the loose ball and crosses from the left wing, the Albion skipper glances a header just wide.

20:25: Forster goes close again for Albion, but Kelly saves, and with half-time approaching the rain's eased again. On a rare attack the home side force their first corner of the game.

20:30: Half-time 0-0.

20:45: Albion make eight changes at half-time. Andrew Whing, Haswell and Robinson are the only players to reappear for the second half. The line up now reads: Sullivan, Whing, Virgo, Lynch, Haswell; Robinson, Chamberlain, Fraser, Wills; Gargan, Dixon.

21:07: Athlone's Anthony Hayes goes close from long range with a fierce drive which goes wide of John Sullivan's left-hand upright.

21:10: Scott Chamberlain flashes a shot wide after a neat one-two with Sam Gargan.
