Ian Westlake goes straight into the starting line-up tonight and will make his debut against Gillingham.

The 24-year-old, who only signed on loan from Leeds United this morning, replaces Steven Thomson, who pulled out late on with a neck problem.

Dean Wilkins has also recalled David Martot at the expense of Dean Cox, who is left out altogether.

Gillingham make one change from the side that drew 0-0 with Yeovil on Saturday, with Derek Stillie replacing former Albion keeper Simon Royce between the sticks.

Former captain Danny Cullip lines up in a five-man defence for the Gills.

Albion: (4-4-2) Kuipers; Whing, Elphick, El-Abd, Richards; Bowditch, Fraser, Westlake, Martot; Forster, Murray. Subs: Lynch, Robinson, Hart, Mayo, Dixon.

Gillingham: (5-3-2) Stillie; Clohessy, Richards, Cullip, King, Nutter; Crofts, Miller, Lewis; Griffiths, Facey. Subs: Kiely, Mulligan, Oli, Fuller, Jackson.

Referee: Mick Thorpe
