Albion boss Dean Wilkins was disappointed that his side couldn't hold onto their second half lead, but gave full credit to Terriers goalscorer Robbie Williams for a brilliant equaliser.
"We are disappointed not to have held on but I suppose at the end of it we have been punished by a world-class free-kick," Wilkins conceded.
"I felt also that the stoppages and breakages in play - half of which I think were totally unnecessary - totally ruined the rhythm and tempo of the game, and I think that the frustrations in the end culminated in two players being sent off.
"At this moment I feel that having gone a goal up it is two points dropped. To get to where we all want to get to we need to ensure that we at least keep a clean sheet but the guy has undone us with a world class free-kick, so sometimes you have to hold your hands up to a bit of class, but I am still disappointed."
Wilkins was also disappointed to see Gary Hart - who now faces a three match ban - sent off at the final whistle for his contretemps with Chris Brandon, although that he revealed he hadn't seen the incident.
"I think that what prompted the meleé was that in the last seconds Harty made a tackle on the fellow and after that I don't really know what has happened because at the final whistle I turned to shake Andy Richie's hand.
"Until I get a chance to see a video - and I'm not really sure if any of the cameras will have caught it because of where it happened and when it happened - but if we have got it then we will take a look at it and then make an assessment after that.
"Losing any player for three games, whether senior or junior, is disappointing, but until I know exactly what has happened it is difficult for me to comment."
Wilkins handed new signing Steven Thomson his debut, and was pleased with the midfielder's first contribution in an Albion shirt.
He said, "I think Steve Thomson looks like he is going to be a good player for us. He is a leader on the pitch.
"He wanted every ball and he kept the ball moving around the pitch nicely so I think he will do well for us."
