Adam Hinshelwood is set to return to match action for the reserves at Aldershot tomorrow afternoon - kick-off 2pm.

The 23-year-old defender hasn't featured for Albion since rupturing his cruciate in December, but his appearance in a strong Albion line-up comes after months of rehabilitation work.

Oxford-born Hinshelwood missed the start of last season and much of the previous campaign due to a similar injury sustained in March 2005, but Dean White has welcomed his return saying it will be like signing a new player.

"He is ready for a game. We had an in-house match last week. He played for about 75 minutes and came through that okay.

"He looked sharp and strong and, touch wood, he is ready for a full reserve game and then we will go from there. We know what we are going to get from him, so it's a real bonus to have him on his way back."

Elsewhere, the likes of Paul Reid, David Martot, Alex Revell, Nathan Elder, Tommy Fraser, Kerry Mayo, Sam Rents and Adam El-Abd will be hoping to play themselves into contention for Saturday's visit to Gillingham with decent displays at the Recreation Ground.

All eight have featured in the first team this season, but none started Friday night's match against Millwall.

Albion: Sullivan, El-Abd, Hinshelwood, Mayo, Rents; Reid, Martot, Fraser, Loft; Revell, Elder. Subs: Fogden, Pelling (GK), Chamberlain, Brinkhurst.
