Unsurprisingly Albion are the underdogs for this weekend's FA Cup clash at the Amex, televised live on ESPN.
Coral - the official bookmaking partner of the Seagulls - have opened up with a 11/4 quote on a home success, compared with a shade off odds-on for the visitors. In the middle comes the draw, very attractively priced at 5/2, and certainly worth a punt.
Despite recent results, Newcastle will provide stern opposition, but Gus Poyet's men are certainly capable of taking the tie to a replay if they can maintain their 2012 form.
If pressed to proffer a scoreline it would be 1-1 at 6/1 as opposed to a stalemate or a high scoring game. This is worth taking in preference to or indeed in addition to the 90-minute play.
Will Hoskins is an interesting candidate in the goal scoring markets. 9/1 is too big for a player of his ability and if he starts this is certainly worth a shout. If he does not play or comes on after the first goal is scored then your stakes are refunded (on request). An alternate option would be Matt Sparrow at 20/1.
Elsewhere in the FA Cup, Tottenham should be your weekend bankers at 1/2 to defeat Watford but I find it hard to recommend a decent priced outsider. Maybe all games will go the way of the form line this weekend?
To add into your Tottenham accumulators consider AFC Bournemouth (13/10) at Chesterfield - this game takes place tonight (Friday)! Complete the treble by adding in Shrewsbury (11/10) to defeat Hereford.
