The banker bet of a half-time draw came up on Saturday, ensuring another winning weekend for the tips, if not the Albion.

It was a more than satisfactory result however and one that gives the team great heart going in to tomorrow night's clash at Bournemouth - a match that, on paper, looks a tad easier given that Bournemouth hare currently propping up the fledgling league table and with just a solitary win to their name.

Given the Albion's relatively poor away record, BHABet can't split the two sides, pricing up both the Seagulls and the Cherries at 6/4, with the Draw the outsider at 9/4. None of these options are particularly attractive odds however, and I prefer to look elsewhere for the value, but to be honest, there is not a lot about!

After Saturday's display, I would have nominated George O'Callaghan, but the bookies have slashed his odds to 12/1, which simply does not appeal. Tommy Elphick is 40/1 though and may reward a speculative punt.

So, almost out of desperation, I nominate "Brighton to keep a clean sheet" at 15/8 as the best bet of the game. This only represents marginal value however so don't go heavy.

Away from the South Coast, I rather fancy that Wednesday's match between Colchester and Queens Park Rangers will end up as a draw. The odds, 12/5, are pretty rewarding.

On a final note, BHABet have re-branded their site as a generic Bet365 portal, but Albion will still benefit financially from every bet you stake if you click through to the site from my tips:
