Albion in the Community is once again running a one-year part-time BTEC National Award in Sport (Development & Fitness).
The course will take place at Withdean, and begins in September. It is run in conjunction with Sussex Downs College.
Last year's inaugral course had a 100% pass rate, with several students attaining distinctions and some going on to work for the club's community programme.

John Byrne - in action for Albion - is a guest lecturer |
The course helps students develop their sports knowledge and skills, with the aim of achieving a nationally-recognised qualification - which could provide the basis for further study.
Tuition is by fully-qualified sports teachers, with guest lecturers including former Albion players John Byrne and Larry May, and club physiotherapist Malcom Stuart.
The course is free to all 16-19 year olds, and £100 per term for over-19s. For more information come along to one of the open evenings on 5th and 7th September, from 7.30pm in the directors' suite at Withdean - or contact Marilena Ward at mward@studysupport.org or 01273 550400.
