Albion's Playing For Success initiative is hosting a Mini Beach Soccer World Cup tournament for primary school children next week.

The event, sponsored by Technical Response, will be held at the Brighton Beach Sand Court on the seafront, on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th June.

Teams will compete in a World Cup style tournament, and a festival atmosphere is anticipated for the multimedia event, in which competitors will create match reports, conduct interviews and watch match replays on flat screen TVs.

Fans are encouraged to come along to Brighton Seafront to watch all the action unfold, along with the local and national media, who will be covering the event.

The event will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm each day.

PFS is a Department for Education and Skills (DfES) initiative established in partnership with Brighton & Hove Albion, and Brighton & Hove City Council, offering out of school hours study support centres within top football clubs and at other sports venues.
