Simon Kirby, Conservative MP for Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven, enjoyed a tour of the Amex this morning.

His guide, AITC's joint managing director Alan Sanders, was delighted to welcome another local member of parliament to the club's stunning new home.

He told seagulls.co.uk, "I'm delighted that the work that Albion in the Community does has cross-party support.

"Over the past few years we have been visited by a number of politicians from all major parties. I'm sure that they all recognise the positive contribution we try to make to the local community in a wide range of areas."
