Calling All Cerebral Palsy Players

Posted on: Mon 28 Nov 2011

By Dan Tester

Seagulls Specials are currently running free specialised training sessions for cerebral palsy players at the King Alfred Leisure Centre in Hove on Saturdays, and have called for cerebral palsy players to start up a new team.

Coaches Spencer Radley-Martin and Kieran Green started the sessions to cater for youngsters with CP and offer them specific exercises such as muscle stretches, balance and co-ordination.

If enough players can be found, Spencer and Kieran will enter a team into the national Cerebral Palsy League and from there is the potential to represent England and Great Britain at the Paralympics next year, as well as the World Cup.

Dates: 14th January, 4th February, 10th March, 7th April and 5th May, 10am to 11.30am.
