Albion in the Community currently have a vacancy for an East Sussex Football Development Officer.
The successful candidate would be responsible to Albion In The Community Football & Multi Sports Development Manager.
They will be responsible for developing and delivering community football, multi sports and health education projects in East Sussex.
Employed by Albion in the Community, the charitable arm of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, this role is based at Sussex Downs College, Eastbourne, and involves working with local partners to organise and deliver football, multi sports and health programmes to local children in East Sussex, and weekly coaching sessions for Sussex Downs College students.
The East Sussex Football Development Officer is responsible for ensuring that all programmes meet Albion in yhe Community's aims and objectives, and maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player, committed to developing sports and health programmes, and in increasing participation levels for young people of all backgrounds and abilities.
Applicants must be qualified football coaches (minimum Level 2, working to Level 3) and they should possess 2-3 years experience gained in a sports development environment. They should have proven experience of planning and delivering fun, quality sports programmes, and preferably have successfully applied for funding or sponsorship in the past. The successful candidate will possess strong management and organisational skills. He or she will be IT literate and able to monitor and evaluate staff and programme performance.
Salary range: £18,000 - £22,000 p.a. depending on experience.
