Albion Stars Open Eastbourne Specials

Posted on: Tue 18 Sep 2007

By Tim Dudding

Joel Lynch and Scott Chamberlain officially opened the Eastbourne Specials & Deaf Football Club on Sunday.

Eastbourne Specials has been set up by local coaches John Craig and James Hopkins and is part of Brighton & Hove Albion's Disability Development Project.

The club's aim is to give all young people, no matter what their ability, a chance to play football, meet friends and develop new skills.

The club, which runs every Sunday at 11am at Eastbourne Sports Park, has had a great response so far and is looking for more players to join. All Seagulls Specials coaches are professionally trained and insured, and sessions cost just £1.50.

Supporters interested in playing for the Seagulls Specials & Deaf FC should call James on 07775810977 or John on 07896686593.

Albion in the Community would like to thank the following sponsors for their support: Rix & Kay, 720Taxis, Haywards Carpets and Premier Sports Eastbourne.
